Chris Sununu Announces Wide-Ranging Support from New Hampshire Law Enforcement Community
New England Police Benevolent Association, Six New Hampshire Sheriffs Endorse Chris Sununu

Exeter, NH – Chris Sununu for Governor campaign this morning announced endorsements from six New Hampshire Sheriffs, as well as the New England Police Benevolent Association. The endorsements underscore Chris Sununu’s continued commitment towards supporting New Hampshire’s law enforcement community and keeping Granite Staters safe.

Sheriff Scott Hilliard said, ”Today, Granite Staters want a leader in the corner office who will put politics aside and work towards finding common sense solutions to New Hampshire’s problems. As Sheriff of Merrimack County, I know that Chris Sununu can be trusted to tackle the issues head-on and stand by the men and women who put their lives on the line each day keeping our communities safe. I am proud to support Chris in his campaign and urge everyone who stands with law enforcement to do the same.”

“Chris Sununu’s commitment and respect towards New Hampshire’s law enforcement officers is well established and appreciated,” said New England Police Benevolent Association New Hampshire State Director, Stephen J. Arnold, Sr. “The current climate towards law enforcement officers in New Hampshire, as well as nationally, has diminished the good work we do as well as our officers’ reputations. It is comforting to know that as our next governor, Chris Sununu will continue to support our police, deputies, corrections, fish and game, liquor enforcement and probation and and parole officers.”

Chris Sununu said of the announcement, “I am honored to earn the endorsement of so many brave and inspiring Granite State sheriffs and the New England Police Benevolent Association. Ensuring law enforcement officers have the tools, support, and resources necessary to combat the growing drug crisis will be one of my top priorities in Concord. For too long, we have taken a back seat to supporting those who put their lives on the line everyday for us, and I will work tirelessly to make sure the voices of our police and sheriffs are heard in Concord.”
